Introducing the Chelsea Group Security & Crisis Management

Chelsea Group proudly introduced its new Security & Risk Management Division, combining the offerings of two of the group’s companies Hart and Security Exchange, at a London event recently.

Security Exchange offers special consultancy internationally, supporting corporate, private client, affinity and insurance markets through effective contingency planning, the provision of security information, crisis management and 24/7 response; while Hart has 18 years of experience providing holistic security solutions to clients around the world.

Following the 2017 launch at City Club in London, Commercial Director of Chelsea Group Security & Crisis Management Division Rob Preston spoke about how Chelsea Group aims to tackle the changing nature of security consulting globally.

“The audience, consisting of insurers, insurance brokers, members of H.M.Gov JSaRC and Cyber risk consultants, amongst others, were treated to the first viewing of a short promotional video of the division. Mark Brayne, former BBC correspondent, author and trauma psychotherapist then led the discussion, which focused on the challenges of getting exposed customers to take steps ahead of crises, the changing nature of security consulting, use of armed and unarmed security solutions onboard merchant vessels and the intricacies of dealing with product recall events.

Further discussion centred on the growing cyber security sector and what is needed right now to satisfy the demand from business and regulators and how the risk might develop in future. Chelsea Group gained some very useful insight into our customers challenges and how we might continue to develop our services to meet the demands of the insurance sector and beyond.”
